Training
In addition to the construction works, the project will develop a social construction site as well, organizing several professional and training courses aimed at refugees and asylum seekers involved in the project. People will have the chance to strengthen skills and knowledge acquired in their countries of origin, but also to develop new capabilities, to increase their economic and social autonomy. In the same time, the goal of these training courses is to get people trained to manage the future activities of Salus Space, and to meet the emerging needs in the territory.
Training courses will develop “in situ”, that is “on the field”, through direct experience: the idea is to organize courses on managing multiethnic catering and cuisine, green and horticultural maintenance, artisan and artistic activities. There will be also working groups to train glassmakers, carpenters, electricians, plumbing and bricklayers.
