Participatory evaluation
The project foresees an evaluation system that will be used by partners and stakeholders from the beginning to the end of the process. The goal of the evaluation is to ensure the achievement of expected results, of their effectiveness, quality and sustainability over time, reporting along the way where it is possibile to take action is order to improve the interventions, solve weaknesses and re-design aspects that could no longer be valid for the achievement of the goals.
The evaluation does not have control or inspection purposes, but aims to support the individuals involved in the activities by promoting a collaborative environment as a fundamental condition for the success of the project. For this reason the methodologies and tools that will be used aim to encourage the participation of non professional evaluators. The participatory evaluation foresees not only the involvement of partners and main local actors, but also the participation of citizens living in the city and in the surrounding of Villa Salus.
For this purpose the project foresees the creation of Integrated Evaluation Groups (IEG) for the different stages of the process. The IEG will be composed by evaluators, main local actors and citizens that will actively participate in the realization of the project evaluation.
